Shouldn't Gmail give an option to search the type of file (PDF, Excel, JPG, .exe, etc.) in an attachment?

You can use Attachments.me . It can be used to upload all the specified files to a cloud storage like Google Drive or Dropbox. From there you can download them all. It comes as a chrome extension. 1)Install the extension. Attachments.me for Gmail, Dropbox, Box, Drive 2)After installing, you will have to authenticate it so that it is able to access your GMail account. (Completely safe) 3)When you open your Gmail account you will now find a new button besides the search bar at the top. Click on it and then select "Search attachments". 4)In the Attachments.me search bar type the file extension you want. (In your case, .pdf) and hit enter. It will show all the PDFs in your inbox and then you can choose any supported cloud storage to upload it to. From there you can then download al the PDFs zipped. Hope this helps. .) P.S..In no way associated with Attachments.me. .)
