What are some of the best iPad 2 apps for college students?

I am also a heavy iPad user. And these are my experiences. Currently I am making notes with the standard Notes app at my workplace. It can do bullets, numbered lists, weblinks, and you can scribble into it, also inserting photos and graphs. It is synched via iCloud, can be used collaborately with others, and can be encrypted and protected with password/touch id. Microsoft’s OneNote is also a nice app, it synchronizes with OneDrive and can do scribbles. And it is free. And can do rich text etc. I would try this if you want to collaborate with non-apple devices. And , both Microsoft Word and Apple’s own Pages app can do what you would like to achieve. Try them. And Pages is free on iPad. For specifically handwriting, I use Noteshelf, which is also a very nice app but stylus oriented. For scientific notes, I am using Ulysses (this is the far best text authoring tool according to my experiences), but you cannot do scribbles with it; I also use 1Writer, and tried Byword, Editorial, iA Writer and Drafts. All these are good markdown editors, but none of them can do scribbles. Most of them can sync via the cloud.
