Why do ebooks have less pages than regular books?

Ebooks have only been around for a few years, and data is always volatile. Hackers can change the words or delete the whole thing. If you rely on ebooks for your facts, and someone can change it when you aren’t looking, the facts you rely upon are no longer valid. A book, printed on paper, is in your possession and cannot be changed. When science facts change, you can get an additional book and compare and find out why. Our current society has a tendency to change its history to suit people’s sensitivit,. or preferences. As an example, if you have been taught, and learned that the current speed limit in a certain region is 50, and you are stopped and told that you had it wrong, the limit is really 30, your electronic book will already have been changed. Your paper book can be taken to court to defend your position that you were not in the wrong. Your paper book cannot be changed without you knowing. If you learned in Chemistry Class that certain elements will combine with Oxygen rather explosively, would you want your child to rely on an ebook for their class, knowing that a hacker could change the book and endanger your child? I prefer my paper books knowing I am returning to old friends. I am always short of bookcase space, the weight has often caused trouble when moving, I could take several pages of Shelfies (and don’t), but my old friends are there on the shelf, ready and unchanging, waiting for me.

Type on PDF: All You Need to Know

It is true that many e-readers don’t have an on/off button, so reading can be inconvenient. However, the convenience factor (and our tendency to rely solely upon reading e-books and websites) does not apply to books on my shelves. A book stands on its own. If you had three books on the shelf that are identical except that one is on your e-book shelf, but is not on your shelf books on my shelf, I do not need you to remember that one is on my shelf and tell you that one is also on your shelf books on my bookshelf. You are always welcome to come over and find them out, and then take them home or leave them on my shelf and I will return them when you ask nicely and ask nicely. A hacker can easily delete or change any text on a book by erasing.
